Organizational Impact & Program Overview

Bethel Stand For Life Outreach Ministries has been in partnership with the Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB) since 2016. Through this collaboration, we have significantly expanded our reach and made a measurable impact across adjoining neighborhoods throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region.

Our primary food distribution site, located at 5210 Auth Rd, Suitland, Maryland 20746, was established to alleviate both the physical and emotional burdens of hunger while preserving the dignity of every individual we serve. Our pantry operates once a month on the second Saturday.

As written in Matthew 25:35“For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink, this scripture reflects the heart of our mission to serve those in need with compassion and action.

We provide a wide range of essential items, including nutritious food, personal hygiene products, cleaning and paper goods, diapers, baby supplies, men, women, and children clothes.

In addition to our pantry services, we extend our outreach to vulnerable populations across the region. Every fourth Sunday of the month, we serve lunch and provide spiritual encouragement at the 801 East Men’s Shelter, located at 2722 Martin Luther King Ave. SE, Washington, DC 20032; which supports men aged 18 and older experiencing homelessness. During these visits, we also distribute hygiene care packages, clothing, and other essential items.

Further reinforcing our mission, Proverbs 22:9 states, “He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor.” This principle guides our continued commitment to outreach and generosity.

We also conduct regular outreach efforts in Shepherd Park located at Malcolm X Avenue and Martin Luther King Avenue in Congress Heights Washington DC 20032, where we provide food, hygiene supplies, and essential items to individuals experiencing homelessness, ensuring we reach those without access to traditional support systems.

Through these combined efforts, Bethel Stand For Life Outreach Ministries remains dedicated to serving underserved communities with compassion, dignity, and faith in action addressing both immediate needs and long-term well-being.
